I wanted to use some really vibrant colors to create a nice composition and go well with the idea of the image, hence why all the pink tones lol.
Even though she's a superhero, she still has her "young woman" part, so I thought the idea of her taking a selfie, where not a lot of people can take one, would be a fitting concept lol
Well, it's my first time creating a city background and it was a very interesting experience to say the least. I obviously used a photo of Manhatan as reference just to make sure the general shape of the rivers and placement of buildings and bridges are relatively close to the real city.
I also wanted to give her suit kinda of a shiny white mixed with a more opaque black so all in all it was a really fun experience.
