According to Hogwarts Legacy, the Room of Requirement is Unplottable the same way Hogwarts is. I also think that because it takes different forms and sizes, you could never genuinely map it out. In that way, the Marauders could have known about it and tried mapping it, but simply couldnβt because itβs Unplottable. And I also thought Hogwarts was founded above the Pensieve like the Ministry and the Death Archway.

2025-02-16 15:44:07 +0000 UTCI always thought that the Room of Requirement wasnβt on the map πΊοΈ because the Mauraders didnβt KNOW about it because they didnβt βdiscoverβ it because they had no use for it during the time they were at Hogwarts; like they hide in the forest π² in their animagus forms when they βneededβ a place to hide rather than in the RoR β¦ And, wasnβt Hogwarts first built where the Pensivse was?? I thought I read/heard of that somewhere β¦ π€
