Disable extra CPU cores

cpu_affinity โ€” a command that allows you to manage CPU load distribution across threads. It can be useful for forcibly disabling efficiency cores (see the FPS boost example in the screenshot).

Recommended cpu_affinity values:

i5-12600K / i5-12600KF / i5-13400 / i5-13500 / i5-13600K / i5-13600KF / i5-14600K / i5-14600KF

cpu_affinity 0-11

i7-12700K / i7-12700KF / i9-12900K / i9-12900KF / i7-13700K / i7-13700KF / i9-13900K / i9-13900KF / i7-14700K / i7-14700KF / i9-14900K / i9-14900KF

cpu_affinity 0-15

IMPORTANT! If you're using a mobile/server CPU with efficiency cores, check its core layout. In some cases, efficiency cores are listed first, so using cpu_affinity 0-X could kill your FPS.

For all other CPUs (including all AMD Ryzen models), you only need to enable the "automatic CPU affinity" option in the settings. Thereโ€™s no need to manually set affinity.

No, I3 processors have no E-Cores
