I love your comments on the chemistry and/or them having a good intimacy coordinator. It was both. Clearly good work by the intimacy coordinator and director. But the actors had amazing chemistry. Apparently they both read with multiple other actors in a chemistry test and then the director asked each what they thought about the guys they read with. Connor (Ilya's actor) said that while the others were good Hudson was clearly the best choice. Hudson's (Shane's actor) said that while other actors were good, with Connor it felt like "he was going to hold me down and fuck me." Then they synced really well when they met in person. So we got the magic we saw on screen.
