Seriously -- I love you guys but PLEASE use a compressor. It's a simple plug-in that would sort this out. I never want to cancel my Patreon, but it is unbearable sometimes to listen to these painfully loud commercials and then barely audible podcast. It also prevents the audio from dropping so much when one of you moves slightly away from the mic. Overall just makes the sound more even and professional.
