[SILVER] Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Episode 12) "A Real Hero"

Comments

Justin is right, what we learned was that Elves in general aren't typically romantically inclined as a species. The exact line was "Elves may live a long time, but across the board, we lack romantic feelings and reproductive instincts. We're quietly going extinct." Concerning the episode itself, I think Fern is projecting when she calls Stark a perv. Fern is thinking up perverted things in her head that she then attributes to Stark, thinking he's thinking the same thing. The grabby-hands motion when he just wanted to help carry Frieren in the snow, for example. Awkward hand-motions aside, I think from Stark's expression (straight-faced, no blushing, etc) that he was 100% serious and just wanted to help. Fern, however, saw that grabby-hands motion and got a perverted thought about it, and thus called Stark a pervert. Same thing with the clothes-dissolving potion at the end of the episode. My dude just wanted to know what was in that bottle, and Fern starts calling him a pervert. Remember, they're *both* in their late teens, and guys aren't the only ones who can have perverted thoughts.
