Wow thanks for re-reading my comment. Fate lore is one of the most complicated to understand due to the expansive creation of concepts, so when a fan tries to explain them to beginners it only manages to confuse them more. That's why the holy words of the fandom are "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT." Some corrections for misunderstandings: (I know you're advance on Patreon but I hope it's still helpful) 1. The Root / Akasha, as I already mentioned, is the place of origin of existence, but it cannot be considered chaos. If chaos and order are the materials that shape the universe, this place is where they are created. The Root is where everything and nothing is, that is why it is called the paradoxical metaphysical plane. PS: Ether is a magical element in Fate. 2. Regarding other planets and their consciousness. YES, all celestial bodies (Stars, Planets and some Moons) have consciousness similar to the Earth, they can even communicate with each other, but they never intervene in each other's affairs. 3. Regarding True Magic, I gave a vague concept to not give spoilers, however it's a topic that will not be deeply touched upon in any anime adaptation, only mentioned. In essence, the True Magics are like Marvel's Infinity Stones, the difference is that you can only possess one of the five existing (known) ones. It's impossible to exercise a similar power through science, although in my humble opinion, given that science develops exponentially, I think it would be possible in no less than a million years. 4. Regarding the Afterlife, in Fate there is no afterlife, when a conscious being dies it's body returns to dust and the soul / consciousness returns to nothingness / The Root. 5. There are other astral layers, parallel worlds and dimensions within The Root. These are some of the most mentioned/important ones: - Reverse World: It's an astral layer of the world where all magical creatures, mystical places, gods and primordials are found. They retired to this place after certain events that began to limit their interaction with humans and the world (DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT). - The Throne of Heroes: It's a place existing in The Root where the souls of the people or beings that marked the history of the world are recorded. Why? DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. - Parallel Worlds: In The Root there is an infinite network of parallel worlds/universes separated by a layer of infinite energy/mana making it impossible to access and interact with them, only one Magician in existence is capable of traveling and interacting with them because He is the wielder of one of the True Magics. Said Magician has an important role in the Fate series and in the origin of the Grail (DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT). - Outer World/Universe: It's a universe existing outside the network of parallel worlds, where life forms beyond human compression live as the Outer Gods. These beings possess power beyond imagination, however despite their immense power they cannot enter the universe or the network of parallel worlds at will. So can they enter somehow? (DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT). PS: The phrase "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT" means that it is VERY complicated and lengthy to explain. Thanks for reading the comments, I hope this helps? Servants are spirits, given physical vessel by the byproduct technique of Einsbern's Third Magic research, there maybe still exist many other studies to summon a spirit or ghost, but Einsbern's reseach is the materialization of soul their summons can exist physically if mana provided, BTW mana as the fifth element in magewrold, the properties of mana is imaginary, they take the form of matter within our world by combining with the world's element(mirroring our matter in physic or take form as a fundamental elements fire water wind earth in mageworld).
