2024-08-06 04:58:51 +0000 UTCSo this HD Remaster kind of screwed up the ending of this episode with a really lazy edit and the ending change. So the new ending is exclusive to the HD Remaster. In the original broadcast the ending song changed in episode 14, but the visuals remained the same until episode 40 when the ending changed completely to ending 3. Also this edit had a really lazy edit during Nicol’s death. In the remaster it shows the Blitz trying to attack Kira and the the Strike backing up and trying to move his sword away from Nicol’s cockpit to avoid killing him and then Nicol runs into the beam and dies. In the original version Kira dodges the Blitz’s attack and swings his sword into Nicol’s cockpit. So the HD Remaster tries to make it not Kira’s fault and also makes Nicol look completely incompetent.
