Cool choice! Riding Bean is less remembered but I think it does some things better than Gunsmith Cats and it also came first. If I may make a suggestion for another short yet brilliant vehicle action anime (that also has a somewhat similar feel to Gurren Lagann!), I would recommend 2009's Tailenders.
