Important point of clarification regarding the Fuyuki Holy Grail War. Only seven servants can be summoned for each war and if a master loses their servant the only way to get a new servant is to contract with a servant that has lost their master before they run out of magic energy and vanish from the world. Normally, a master who has lost their servant and command seals would not be receive new Command Spells unless a different servant is looking for a new master, so in the previous episode where Kirei received the Command Spells even though there was no masterless servant to contract with is highly unusual and possibly adds credence to Gilgamesh's theory that Kirei was chosen because he has a personal need for the Holy Grail.

2024-10-16 05:47:00 +0000 UTCWell an addition, Gilles is a leader in France army before he became Bluebeard, in Fate he always work together with Jeanne in fights and they are close, obessed with her, and know the actually her and her struggle, in my eyes he did have reason to become the Bluebeard. For maintaining one's body, the world will actively erase the existence power of imaginary beings like servants and summons(because they don't belongs to reality so they have to be corrected somehow, Throne of Heroes to me is the projection of imagination, a great phantasm which allowed or practiced by the world or universe whatever, also served as a defence mechanism that can be used by the world and human if the world allows it), thats why they eventually need extra mana either from a master or other special way to maintain their existence, they are ghost put into a vessel made from mana which can imitate any physical matter, since their body is made from mana, so they can switch into mana and matter willingly, not practical in one-on-one battle tho since they can sense your mana track, could end you when you start switching form.
