lore-wise, every one's new beam shields (starting from this I think) is a miniaturized Artemis base shield, just FYI, it's definitely not mentioned in the show

2025-03-08 13:56:19 +0000 UTCI haven't done my rewatch yet, where I take my notes before the next recording, so I'm not 100% yet, but I don't recall any specific scenes that indicated to me that Yuna was operating behind anyone's back. He just seems like a jerk who agrees with everyone else about the right course of action.

2024-11-21 00:54:26 +0000 UTCI thought this was clear in the episode but Yuna has been communicating with the Earth Forces behind Cagalli's back to sell out the Minerva and was using Orb to please the Atlantic Federation before the treaty with Orb was signed. Yuna does not have the authority to act on Orb's behalf when interacting with the Atlantic Federation without Cagalli's knowledge and the approval of the government as a whole, but he's doing it anyways to score points with the Atlantic Federation and even gave secret orders to the Orb Border Forces to sink the Minerva once they received the official orders to fire warning shots, but thankfully Todoka subverted those orders. There is also no information to suggest Yuna's been manipulated so far and has only ever acted for his own beliefs/interests.
