well, since it was never really explained, basically Atlantic federation = NATO/America and Eurasia = Russia/Soviets Artemis was a Russian fortress, basically. And Archangel is/was at the start, an American carrier. It's similar to how in ww2, American bombers got lost and landed in Russia/Soviet Union, and Russians/Soviets retained them and copied the American bombers. but you guys are at destiny endgame so this probably is useless info at this point
