[SILVER] Gundam SEED Destiny (Episode 24) "Differing Views"

My comments for this episode: -Kira is generally not viewed as being character assassinated during Destiny and I think Theta's taking the Jesus Yamato meme a bit far. The meme is generally refers to plot armor he seems have primarily in Destiny and doesn't mean that the show ties itself in knots just to prove him right. -remember the battle was finished a the end of the last episode with the shot of the Freedom flying off with a bunch of smoke rising in the background. -the comment of "Athrun is his season 1 self again" is a common problem people have with Destiny and people generally view that as being a significant part of Athrun being character assassinated as he seems to have forgotten everything he learned from season 1 of Seed. -Haw's point to Athrun is that by joining ZAFT he has committed himself to a side in the war, and while it is true that the Earth Forces are the ones who have clearly been in the wrong since the start of the war, that doesn't necessarily mean committing yourself to the other side is the right choice, especially when that side is engaging in a clear deception to manipulate others into publicly supporting them. -the word "terminal" was very briefly mentioned in this episode and "Terminal" is essentially the new faction name for Kira and Lacus's group. I do not consider this a spoiler because this is never made clear during Destiny. -Cagalli and Yuna's marriage vows were never completed as Cagalli never uttered the final words -Kira has very good reasons for being suspicious of Durandal given the fact that shortly after Durandal started using Meer to get public support for him and his position, Coordinators using brand new mobile suits attempted to murder Lacus and cover up the evidence. While Durandal has not had Zaft do anything extreme or bad like what occurred in Season 1, that does not mean that Durandal does not have a hidden agenda he is currently pursuing. If Durandal does have a hidden agenda, Kira and Lacus currently have no way of verifying whether it is good or bad, so they are currently suspicious of Durandal and the Plants. -I also think it's important to note that Lunamaria now knows that the "Lacus" that she met and has been hanging around Athrun is a fake. -I find Theta's support for the idea that it's okay to kill an innocent person if it would bring world peace very amusing for reasons that may or may not be restricted solely to Gundam Seed Destiny or may or may not also be related to a different show that is currently being watched on the channel. -again the Jesus Yamato meme has more to do with plot armor than it being a commentary on how Kira can never be wrong since he's the main character.
