[SILVER] Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Episode 61) "He Who Would Swallow God"

Notes: Part 2 Clarifying the idea of ​​"swallowing/absorbing" God. As I mentioned before, God is not an entity but information. What Father did was use the immense energy of the philosopher's stone that he created using the population of Amestris as a sacrifice (+50 million souls worth of energy) to extract a portion of the information inside the Gate and be able to contain it. But obviously for this he had to manifest the Gate in the physical plane, so he had to wait for the eclipse (because of the symbolism it has and the union of the sun and the moon and... you know what I mean). So back to the point, Father technically didn't "swallow" God but a part (huge part) of the information that is God, and since one needs knowledge to transmute the elements, it gives him power to create whatever he wants but not do whatever he wants (big difference, although one could argue that power allows you to do whatever you want.. but I don't mean that, you understand me haha). By the way, all this has been shown throughout the show and is one of its central themes, "Knowledge is Power". It is also the reason for the constant question "why don't they heal him if they have the stone?", well, as I answered before, in alchemy to transmute something one has to know and understand that which is going to be transmuted. Philosopher's stones do not give this knowledge, they only allow one to "ignore" the law of equivalent exchange (although this is not true, in reality the energy of the stone is used to create materials from that energy). For this reason, to heal someone one needs to first know the biology of the human body, know the elements it is made of, understand those elements and then one is able to heal. Without a philosopher's stone this process is very dangerous because one has to take materials from other parts of the body to restructure and heal the damaged part, but with a stone one can obtain the materials from its energy and not from the person treated. That is the main reason why those characters who used a stone did not use any other alchemy than what they already knew/understood, because the stone only expanded and facilitated their transmutations. haha by the way, if you look closely you can see the Gate and the eye in the sky getting closer to Father, so yes, he was pulling it to earth haha. Regarding the circles, there were indeed two. One was created by Hohemhein, in episode 36 we see him discovering Father's plan, reacting by saying: "That bastard", so he sets out on his journey abandoning his wife and children to prepare the plan of the counterattack circle and be able to return the souls in case he doesn't stop Father in time. And the second circle was created by Scar's brother, to dissipate Father's expanded stone in Central and Amestris, and allow the use of the tectonic energy of the planet and not Father's. The confusion with the circles may be due to what Hohemhein said: "...WE plotted against you since the moment you set it in motion...", "we" referring to him and his friends in his stone, and not to the boys and the Ishvalans. And we did see Hohemhein preparing his circle also in ep 36 right at the beginning saying: "Donatus, Poswell, Reinmeir, Gianni, Collins, Toni, Willard, Ripley, Mechthild, Mayo, forgive me because I have to use you", to which he proceeds to open his chest and throw them to the ground.
