Amuro's voice actor "retired" so chance of amuro appearing isn't too high. But I'm hoping they don't pull a seed destiny and swap the main character halfway during the season lol

2025-04-21 09:32:14 +0000 UTCThe events of this episode were originally just supposed to be a short prologue, but Hideaki Anno who specifically wrote it gave them enough material for 30-35 minutes so that’s why we got a full episode of this. They cut out a good 10-15 minutes from the events we saw in the movie as we actually get to see what Challia Bull narrates at the end of the episode. I’m not sure if the events they cut out will be shown later on in the show, or if those events will spoil anything for later on, so if you don’t want to know specifically what they removed you can stop reading the comment here because I'm going to describe in detail what was in the movie, but cut from this episode. Wakkein from Lun a 2 is the one who plans the drop of Solomon onto Granada and we see Char’s full plan to stop Solomon. His plan is to plant a bunch of bombs on Solomon at key points to break it up and stop it from landing on Granada, but secretly he plans to destroy one of the bombs to ensure that it will fall on Granada and kill both the Zabi’s and the Federation. After he deactivates one of the bombs he gets attacked by a modified Guncannon, but when he’s about to attack back he gets a newtype flash telling him that Sayla/Artesia is the pilot, and hesitates which allows her to damage his mobile suit which causes his Psychommu to go out of control and create the Zeknova effect, Char’s last lines of dialogue are “I can see time” which were also Lala’s final lines as well.
