Log Bundles are a very effective form of fuel for the Furnace. Acorns add about 10 seconds of fuel, while Log Bundles will each add about 1 minute.
Cobblestone Packs will let you change any tile into a Cobblestone tile. In the future Furnaces will scorch surrounding tiles, unless they are placed on a Cobblestone tile.
Furnaces are used to convert Ore into Bars. Fuel them with Acorns or Log Bundles and drop at least 3 of any kind of Ore inside to smelt a Bar. Furnaces can also be used to store Ore, since the contents saves, and they do not smelt into Bars unless there is fuel inside.
