I think the general answer is to watch whatever makes you happy. The ad revenue from YouTube is usually never worth the trouble. For instance, if their CPM is $3, that means their first Fast and Furious video with 24K views would make about $72 /total/. Which is like 30% of a penny per ad watched in this scenario. It's such a drop in the bucket, and one of many reasons why a lot of creators flock to sites like Patreon. I'm not telling you not to watch the youtube videos with ads; do whatever you feel helps. However, you are already helping so much by being a Silver+ member, and you shouldn't have to endure ads for what could be $0.003.

It's not that I don't appreciate the ad free ones and I don't want to make it seem like patreon supporters don't check out the patreon version of the content but I figure watching through the public version with ads helps with view counts and ads and what not. Which one helps you guys out more though? Thanks!
