A reminder on video credits & the start of the lockdown
Added 2021-01-13 19:55:13 +0000 UTCJust a quick post since there are quite a lot of new patrons; like almost all youtube content creators, I credit patrons at the end of every "real" video I make (very short content stuff like stream highlights excluded).
I am a very strong advocate for privacy, and do my best to not publish any family names. Most people who sign up on Patreon don't realize that they can use usernames instead of real names for their accounts. If you would rather be credited under a username, I recommend you change your Patreon account name to be a username instead as soon as possible.
Also just a note, we got our final details for the month-long lockdown that is starting tomorrow. I have set the following development goals that I hope to accomplish over this period of time:
- Publish the Air Ship Minidungeon
- Republish all minidungeons with tweaked locations and other minor fixes for issues detected throughout time
- Publicly release the current batch of fixes and optimizations to Spigot
- Do development livestreams 4 days a week
- Completely tear down the way commands currently work and replace it with a much more robust system with autocomplete suggestions and full error handling
- Complete the /em setup to fully incorporate the preferred permissions mode and the adventurer's guild world loading / unloading
- Make a new video setup guide for admins
- Write documentation for all config options in the plugin
- & more!
This is a bit of an ambitious set of goals, but I don't think it's unreasonable.
The next development sprint starts tomorrow!
