I think it’s just demonstrating classic anxiety with Eren, which is natural. You get moments of clarity and confidence in yourself, and then certain situations revert you back to your anxious thoughts and feelings. That’s why it’s important to have people that can support you in those moments, and that’s why Armin and Mikasa grounding him helped to wipe away those feelings. As someone with anxiety/depression it can be all consuming and you can live in your thoughts and head a lot and it can be destructive and self deprecating. With all Erens been through this makes sense. I love that it’s not something that is fixed straight away, but that he’s working through it with the support of his friends.

i could see the disappointed look on Oak's face after the opening... this is why ive been spamming the comments to skip the intro for the first few episodes. Like Oak said, you could pretty much go scene for scene and see whats gonna happen.. i hate that they made this intro SO spoily :( maybe i shouldve just sent yall a DM to make sure yall read my comment

Each episode punches so hard until you get to the final credits. I'm glad I finally got around to getting to watch these. To explain the Eren controlling titans without spoilers: Eren can only control titans under a specific criteria. The criteria is currently unknown. If Eren was of Reiss blood then he could control titans with no trouble. This was explained during the Rod Reiss Arc
