When they got moved, Marduk told them that it was all of the Sky God's plans, and that Father was supposed to talk to them before they got moved. But what if it was just something Marduk did himself, and he lied and is trying to convince Kainan and the others that he should be the one they trust, not Father or the other Sky God's. Or maybe he wanted to kidnap them, make it so Father thought that they all died and that they're no longer alive and there's no reason for him to try and stick around. Maybe to leave Marduk alone as the sole "Sky God" left in Aedra. I went back to check on my suspicions, and I think I might be somewhat correct, but probably not entirely. I checked back at the beginning of chapter 7, after searching for a little while to find where they were moved since I couldn't remember exactly when it was
