Technically still Friday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TewCPi92ro

Things left to say: not much

Oh, the rigging for my vtubing avatar is done, so I'll actually be able to move around now! I plan on posting some of that to my Twitter tomorrow. I won't be posting much vtuber-related things here to Patreon outside of these weekly updates since I figure nobody came here for that in the first place and I don't want to bloat people's emails or Patreon feeds, so make sure to follow my Twitter or join the Discord server if you want to keep up to date with my vtubing stuff!

The True Endgame

I feel like this one volume has had as much fishing as the rest of the series combined. Or it's about to have as much as the rest of the series combined. Don't you love when a series you're reading takes eight volumes to actually get to the beginning of the story?

Also, the current harem candidates are probably the last ones there will be. Well, that's the plan right now, anyways. I think I'd rather show off more side relationships than add new girls to the main relationship. It's already big enough as is! But, if I ever get an idea for a waifu I really want to add, you can be sure that I probably will.

Of course, there's also the thing about me wanting to write a story featuring one kid from each pairing of Ryouta and his girlfriends. The more waifus, the more series. Unless I get lazy and toss a couple of them into the same series to have them share the role of protagonist, which I'm already considering doing for two of them since I think it would work great.

Ero Dungeon Online

Alright, they did dungeon things. Time to not touch the dungeon again for a long time.

I kid. Mostly. There are a few non-dungeon plots that need dealt with, one of which is coming up in the next chapter, and then I think we'll be back to focusing on the dungeon some more. The series is probably... halfway over at this point? Maybe more? I can't imagine EDO going past 4 volumes. Unlike TTE, which is only just now getting into what I consider the beginning of the main, overarching plot of the series, EDO doesn't really have any major plot or anything to lead into. It's just lewd monster fun, slice of life, and relationship drama. Well, drama from other people's relationships. Like the deal with Akorya and Syl, and Akorya and her bully.

Poor Akorya. She needs lots of headpats.

Lazy Dragon Queen

Time for me - I mean, Window, to finally type up those post-battle screens and exploration reports... yay. Man, even when it comes to writing such a simple "litrpg" where the system doesn't actually matter outside of being a waifu, it's still always difficult to actually bring myself to type up the litrpg-y parts. I just, I adore the concept of litrpg, but I struggle so damn hard with even writing a very light and nonsensical parody of it.

But that's the only problem I have with LDQ and it's a very minor one at that!

Reading Report

Alright, I did it. I finished SAO Alternative: Gun Gale Online. The main reason why I wanted to read this book was because I wanted good examples of written gun fighting to build off of and I feel satisfied with what I was able to read. My main takeaway is that, when it comes to writing gun fights, most of the description comes down to the strategy of the fight instead of any cool or flashy moves. It's more about writing distances, surrounding details, noises, and going over the strategy involved. And if you're a gun nerd, going into specific details for the guns themselves. I don't know if I'm versed enough in the topic of firearms to actually describe them in interesting ways, but it's something I'd like to try! Also, definitely going to order the next book in the series.

As for what I'll read next... probably something light and quick. I want to get more into the habit of reading and I think starting off with little things will help me with that since, right now, I see a large book and can just tell that I'm going to be lazy and procrastinate.

In Closing

Time to sleep! Thank you for your continued support and please look forward to next week's chapters!
