Itโs currently a very warm & sunny day here and thereโs some beautiful sunshine on my desk while I write this little newsletter to you guys ๐ I wanted to share a sneak-peek of my newest drawing which is inspired by listening to music and that vibe when you just want to stop and listen to it ๐ค๐ง I feel like I learned some new things about rendering during the process of this one and I had so much fun with the lighting concept ๐ This weekend Iโll post the full process video for you guys so you can see it all come together from sketch to finish :)
In this post I also shared a little overview of the rewards you can expect this month along with a basic idea of how I plan out my content for each week!
These are the big projects I work on each month and then I share other content in between like sneak-peeks, step-by-step progress photos, PSDโs, etc โบ๏ธ Sometimes I change the order of the content a little depending on my mood, but usually this is what it looks like! Itโs sooo important to stay organized as a freelancer to avoid feeling overwhelmed, so it helps me to create time blocks like this each week to divide everything up โจ
Speaking of freelancing, April is always a happy nostalgic time for me because it was the month that I first created a Patreon and began to pursue my art career 3 years ago! ๐ฅฐ I was still a college student teaching art at an elementary school at the time and then I decided I wanted to draw for a living, and I canโt believe where we are now ๐ฅฒ Iโm soooo grateful for all of you being here with me on this art journey ๐ค

I know I'm a little late commenting on this post, but is there any chance you could do a moodboard challenge or a DTIYS for us patrons at some point? ^^

2022-04-06 05:02:30 +0000 UTCThanks so much Sam!! ๐ฅฐ Haha I actually just screenshot my iPad calendar app and drop the image into procreate to draw on it! I think itโs really helpful to draw directly on the calendar like that because you can easily jot down plans and structure your week! ๐
