The actor who played the brother in Hidden Love was actually pretty good looking too (although they tried to push him as funny) but he is not really a full time actor, he is more a singer so it made sense to change it. Sang Yan is a difficult role and after watching The First Frost, I can't imagine someone else playing Sang Yan, this actor did an amazing job, they definitely wanted a different vibe too.
