the peacock spider is a classic example of cool mating behaviors but there are a lot of other jumping spiders with really fascinating mating rituals as well!

Also I definitely encourage you to look into spider mating behaviors. It could be super cool to interpret the different adaptations into the humanoids culture like dancing, bright colors, size, etc.
