I was worried about the 3D character when I started, and it took me a day or two to get used to maya again. But now I'm having no trouble with the animation! I just got to fix some minor bugs with the rendering. The real time consuming task is composing all the footage in after effects. There's a ton of layers, masks, expressions and pre-comps for each shot, so the timeline can get easily cluttered.

And oh boy! I can't wait to finish this! Cuz I'm really tired of these long-ass projects! I want to find a good balance between this episode and the old ones. Something that can be done on time with no delays! Because nobody wants to wait six months for a new episode right? So the next one is definitely going to be simpler. I won't sacrifice the animation quality or anything like that, but it's probably going to be shorter.
Here's some other stuff:
You guys have probably seen this already, but this is the work that I was talking about in the previous update: http://2snacks.tumblr.com/post/160136584027/artists-httpdkirbyjtumblrcom
Matt asked a lot of talented artists to create some awesome fanart. And then he asked me to recreate the street fighter alpha 2 intro using all the artwork.

Also, the guys that make that Russian TBSP series released a Skyrim video:
There's a lot of unrelated random stuff happening in the background. but it's still pretty cool!
