Progress Update #78

Hey there, quick update. It looks like I won't be able to finish the animation this month, which is a huge bummer because Kiryu Coco is graduating from hololive on July 1st.

First time animating Coco and she's going away before I can even finish it :(

I am enjoying painting these two, though. They are a lot of fun to draw, especially Towa! I love her character design and color palette! The contrast between the purple and the pink on her hair looks super cool!

Coco on the other hand has a lot of small details and a much bigger color palette. I still enjoy painting her, but it's a little bit more challenging. Rigging her hair in After Effects is also very time-consuming, since it involves a lot of layers.

Because she is graduating I decided to add some cameos in the animation, like her dragon forms and Coco Kaine. Just as a little tribute, you know?

Based on my progress so far, it's looking like I'll finish this in 2 to 3 weeks. Coco won't be streaming anymore at that point, but I really hope that she comes across the animation on social media.
