Heh, itโs actually purely practical- I make a layer of a hot color to block where the negative space around the characters is, so I can easily visualize or select if Iโm working on the โforegroundโ or โbackgroundโ. Somehow over the years Iโve found this pink is pretty easy to look at, so itโs my default, but I also do some pastel greens and oranges for multiple panels.
