ngl it was funny at first but now im concerned that he is not even gonna enjoy one of the highlight characters of this series because he's stuck on trying to prove he is bad and every thing that happens will be twisted as a bad thing because he has decided for himself that erwin is bad without the show ever implying that. Rowan is funny though and i like the guy so i think its best if he doesnt go too hard on the erwin hate lol the youtube comments are gonna have a field day otherwise. I think you guys especially ronnie could maybe guide him better to understand his character without spoiling anything. or maybe he'll come around later on who knows but yeah i hope he isnt trying to die on this hill.

2024-10-12 20:41:55 +0000 UTCLevi is very attached to his comrades; he appreciated them all in his own way. He's more into action than words, compared to some of the other characters in this series. This episode is a perfect example. What I’m going to say isn’t a spoiler, it’s to clarify what you said about him and Petra. Actually, he never loved her romantically, but he did care a lot about her because she reminded him of someone, you should watch his OVA ''No regrets', part 1 and 2 to understand. Although it’s difficult for someone like Levi to love someone else, the author strongly suggested (especially in the manga and the mythological references between them) that he felt something close, in terms of love, for another female character you've already met in the show, but which you’re not very familiar with yet. You'll probably figure out who it is in the next seasons if you pay close attention.

Ronnie can you please show this to Rowan so that he can for once actually understand the incredible impact Erwin has for humanity. Im copy pasting my comment from ep 20 1. been a member of the survey corps for at least 5 years, defying the odds of 60 % of people dying within 4 years, immediately we know he is a survivor. 2. Was chosen as the commander of the survey corps most likely by a vote or by the prior commander giving Erwin the mantle. This shows that Erwin is respected greatly by all soldiers. Levi squad say in this episode "you dont know yet Eren, but there is a reason Erwin was chosen to be the man to lead humanity against the titans". 3. Lead the team to kill the remaining titans in Trost after Eren blocked the hole with the boulder 4. Outsmarted the military police and Dalius Zhacary at the courtroom by waiting for the right moment to get Levi to beat up Eren, this allowed everyone to believe that Levi can keep Eren under check and have Eren join the team to help defeat the titans and save all of humanity 5. Figured out that there was a traitor/spy who infiltrated 5 years ago after determining that because Eren can become a titan, the colossal and armoured titans are likely humans to. 6. Is the man who invented the long range scouting formation with signal guns that resulted in far less lives lost during expeditions compared to expeditions of the past. His plan saves more soldiers then ever before. 7. Determined that the spy/traitor killed Sawney and Bean and that they dont want humanity learning the truth of the titans and therefore would also go after Eren when the moment presented. Erwin planned ahead of this expedition for a month expecting the traitor to attempt to capture Eren. 8. Successfully caught the female titan in the forest due to the plan he made prior to the expedition. Now please say again with a straight face, what has Erwin done......... the only reason the female titan got away was because she used a power that Erwin never knew or could predict. He is not a failure in the slightest because of this. Give me another character who could do exactly what Erwin has done

2024-10-11 15:40:01 +0000 UTCThankfully these last 3 eps don't ruin the viewing experience if you don't watch them together but for the future seasons: Season 2: - No trilogies, watching in pairs works perfectly Season 3: - Episodes 16, 17, 18 (These are a MUST - If you have time include 15 as well but it's not as big of a deal) Season 4: - Episodes 5, 6, 7 (Some people say 6, 7, 8 but I prefer 5, 6, 7 - either works) - Episodes 19, 20, 21 (This is a MUST)
