2024-10-31 17:01:10 +0000 UTCI understand her trauma and I totally understand why she's pretty cold towards other people (just like Levi) but that doesn't change her unhealthy behavier towards Eren. Yes, he saved her, but there is a huge difference between being protective and obsessive. She doesn't even try to understand other people motivations, she just doesn't care, and that has nothing to do with her trauma. Eren also lost his mother, but he never acted like her. I'm sorry, but the way she acts is very annoying, not for me. I prefer female character like Hange. But you can have your opinion about her, I respect that.

I was kinda sad about what happened to Ymir, she was actually so caring towards everyone. Also, even though we didn't saw much of Hannes, his death hit me hard. I also wanted to express my (probably unpopular) opinion of a character. I don't know about you, but it was from this episode that I started to completely lose interest in Mikasa. Aside from being beautiful and badass, I think she's pretty damn annoying. I find her obsession with Eren unbearable. Okay, I get it, you're in love (and you have a reason to protect him too) but come on... She doesn't even try to understand Reiner and Berthold's motivations, it seems like she's doesn't care about anyone except Eren. Eren, Eren, Eren and Eren everywhere. She mothered him too much and didn't seem to be affected by Hannes' death, the only thing, once again, that worried her was Eren. Honestly, I don't see the use of her character and I don't understand why she is so appreciated. Like, you can be in love with someone, other characters are also in love with each other, but they've never acted as obsessively as her, and even if she have a reason, it's completely invalid for me. Anyway, can't wait for your next reactions! Thank you! So happy I found this channel! :))

Armin was desperately shooing a titan by swaying his sword, Mikasa confessed to Eren before they die, but Eren, who knows they are now helpless, with his vengeful attitude, refuses to back down and willing fight that Titan with his bare hands before he die. This fortitude resulted in the discovery that he has the so called "Coordinate" and for some reason it looks like he commanded the titans.

2024-10-29 13:05:53 +0000 UTCRegarding the "AOT was supposed to end at s1" discussion, i'll try to explain that as best as possible from what I know. Initially, Isayama (the author) never intended for aot to be as long and grand as it is, he wanted it to be a shorter story that potentially ended in 1 season. In this initial story, it was a lot simpler and the concept for the initial ending was everyone dying in the end after being overrun by titans. In fact, i'm not even sure if was even planned to be as complex as all the stuff discussed in s3 onward. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was supposed to just remain a simple story of humans vs titans and in the end everyone dies. We also get a glimpse of this "original ending" in the first episode in Eren's dream sequence where we see a quick shot of everyone dead. Anyway, this initial plan for the aot story doesn't have anything to do with the gap between s1 and s2 however, as this initial idea was in the very early days of even the manga I believe, before it was anyway close to being animated. The reasoning for the large gap was because one, as mentioned the manga needed time to get ahead as it was only on what is now the S2 content around the time S1 was airing. And secondly, the other reason I believe, was that the reception the show received was unexpected. Many expected the show to flop, so when it got the insane attention that it did when it came out, the producers were surprised and so hadn't prepared to make a S2 in mind as they did not anticipate this. This is also why although there was a 4 year gap, S2 was only in production for around 2 of them. Additionally, here's a quick rundown of the seasons releases to give some context Season 1: 2013 Season 2: 2017 Season 3 part 1: 2018 Season 3 part 2: 2019 (many don't realise that season 3 was split into two parts as most the current fandom started watching when it got hyped and insanely popular when the final season started, so when they watched season 3, they just binged it all) Final Season part 1: end of 2020 Final Season part 2: start of 2022 Final season final chapters part 1: early 2023 Final Season final chapters part 2: late 2023

Birds in general are a symbol for freedom, however those two birds at the end of Levi's OVA for example, those were doves. I believe you guys mentioned those birds being about freedom, but rather in that case those were symbolic "spirits" almost, of Farlan and Isabel, as doves tend to represent death and souls. So likewise, don't think that every bird in the show might be a seagull.
