Hey lovely gents from a fellow Aussie 😀 I absolutely looove your reactions keep going 👏👏👏I joined your patreon to watch your AOT reactions but no matter how I change the hide sensitive content to off I cant see the videos on daily motion. Is there some other way to see these reactions?

Then, he learned the truth and it humbled him. Personnaly, I think Eren is special :P (all my fav characters are specials in my eyes xD Fight me! lmao)

2024-11-11 13:38:22 +0000 UTCTying to what you guys were saying about Eren's change in character: when Eren was talking to Historia, she asked him what would he do if he met Reiner and Berthold again, and he said something along the lines of: "it seems that I have to kill them". This is a good juxtaposition (:p) with a scene we got earlier when Eren was angry at Reiner and Berthold, in the tree scene (when he says to them, with a surge of emotion: "I will make sure to make you suffer and die in the worst way possible"). Right now, killing them is more like a duty he has to carry, without much emotion behind it. The hot-headed version of Eren was driven by an innocent "good/bad" understanding of the world - but now, he has seen how complex things can get, and how many things are beyond his understanding. That fiery energy that he used to have (which stemmed from his strong convictions of titans are bad/humans are good) has clearly diminished a lot.

When I first watched the show, I figured that Keith was just generally still biiter towards Grisha, and wanted to get back at him by sabotaging his son = preventing him from "achieving greatness". The conversation of the guys above along with your comment here opened my eyes to new interpretations

2024-11-10 15:53:34 +0000 UTCEren's inner self/persona is just as his mother described, but his drive that causes him to move forward is his fathers, hence why Keith says "You resemble your mother so much, however the fangs lurking in your eyes are your fathers". That's why Keith wished to stop Eren from moving onward with his training by sabotaging the belt, as he wanted to make Carla's version of Eren a reality, which was the boy who was special by just existing. But, the drive from his father overpowered, and he succeeded in the training even with the botched belt.

2024-11-10 11:34:03 +0000 UTCI love that whole credits scene with Carla, and the reveal of Shadis sabotaging Eren's belt. Shadis saying "You chose to set ablaze your life, which will burn to ashes outside the walls" and him looking worried was Shadis trying to protect Eren by stopping him from becoming a scout. He believed that Eren would die outside the walls. Which is 100% true, if Eren hadn't possessed titan powers, he'd have died that first mission. But Eren didn't give up and fail, he managed to stay upright, and you can see the look on Shadis' face of resignation when that happens. He realised that Eren would never give up on his goal, and in turn couldn't protect Carla's son.
