I’ve never seen reactors who didn’t recognize Eren in episode 3 but then made the connection with the name Kruger. It’s usually the other way around. Awesome hahaha

2024-11-28 23:27:19 +0000 UTCpeople are different. Personally I knew the instant I heard his voice that it was him but not everyone will. It's because people don't take in information the same way. Some people listen and recognise the voices really well and its because they pay attention to the audio very well unlike some other people who pays more attention to just the subtitles to take in information. This is also why some people can fully grasp the japanese voice acting while some cannot. From my experience, it's exposure and familiarity. As an asian who speaks fluent english, moved to the UK and have a perspective from both sides, Ive noticed that people who are not exposed to a lot of languages growing up, especially asian languages have a harder time understanding emotion in asian languages compared to something like english but it doesn't necessarily mean that its not there or is not perceivable to someone who doesnt speak the language fluently. I find english voice acting cringe because i'm used to hearing it in less serious kid friendly cartoons as I was growing up and relate it to that which brings down the seriousness for me even though i speak it as a first language at this point. It's all about how you perceive things. If you don't understand why people watch an entire show in a language they don't understand, it's just because you aren't perceiving it the same way they are.

Just another reason why watching an entire show in a language you dont understand never really made sense to me lol

2024-11-27 17:55:42 +0000 UTCI watched with sub, (i'm NOT boasting, just sharing my first time) I recognized the voice, but I wasn't sure around that time, then I saw the eye, when they zoomed on it, I saw the color and the glimmer (the little 'cray-cray' lmao) and the famous line "moving forward" Eren loves saying that.

There were so many give aways and all, like when eren had the baseball, I was sure they would have clicked on that a certain somebody who likes baseball has talked to him so that has to be Eren. This is why ya gotta pay attention to absolutely everything in this show, even down the the voice actors, otherwise you will miss something 😂. I think Eren him calling himself Kruger threw them off as they were more fixated on understanding that. These past two episodes I was like "ok now they're gonna realise" all the way up until the final reveal 🤣. Also, that little interaction between Magath and Willy on the bench was interesting, a lot of people didn't click onto the fact that they are aware there is impostors here, and that they know that Eren has infilitrated and are planning their own scheme in return, hence Magath says to Willy "the house if infested with rats" and "a large demolition is required". Most people didn't click onto this because of how metaphorically they were speaking. However, if the lads realised this was Eren from the start, I wonder if they may have clicked on. What was funny is that Ronnie even emphasized the rats line and they were still so unaware 😭. Also another thing to note that may have been overlooked is that Magath is now the general of the whole military as opposed to just being commander of the warrior unit before, as Tybur says to him in that same conversation "congratulations General, the military is yours". Hinting at the fact that once again, They are aware that Eren may attack, and so he is future proofing by assigning Magath as the next general. Anyways these next few episodes about to be wild. PLEASEEEEE upload 5,6,7 together, they are the next holy trinity of episodes in AOT. There's 3 main "holy trinity" episodes of AOT, s3 ep 16, 17, 18 then s4 ep 5, 6, 7 and s4 ep 19, 20, 21 which is my favorite triple episode run 😏
