I completely agree that genocide is wrong and what Eren is doing morally would be considered by many to be going too far. I also completely get where Eren is coming from and how he got here. I see how the world treated him and Eldian's as a whole and his experiences and how all that created this situation. As you gents said in the discussion its kill or be killed for Paradis and Eren is not going to allow Paradis and his loved ones to be killed which I am on board with because I personally love my Paradis peeps and will choose them over the world any day. Also no one and nothing can make me hate my boy Eren. Love him for life.

1. Ymir comes back to king fritz because she turned into a titan for the first time and upon transforming for the first time you loose some memories of the moments just before and after it. 2. Eren cannot wait for that 50 year plan because that would mean for them to hold on to power “child has to eat their parents” a fate of the royal blood. Which is the last thing Eren wants

ebenezer rahul

I didn't ask them this directly, but we sort of share our thoughts around this in the next intro :)

Lmao 🤣

Biraj is way too smart that Ronnie had to purposely trip him off 🤣🤣

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5626028/ kids show with an 8.2 rating.

Rawdota

Hey Ronnie would you be open to asking them if this arc/trio of episodes has beaten the season 3 episode 16/17/18 trio?

Rawdota

Please be serious. MHA is for kids lmao and it is not HYPE AF lmfao. Just use ratings imdb and MAL and common sense. Be for real

Rawdota

I remember watching your first episode and all I could think about was the post discussion when you finally get to these episodes. You guys didn’t disappoint. The only thing I would argue is that you’re not taking into account Armins plan is also potentially futile. The world has always wanted Eldians exterminated. Even when they are controlled by Marley. Purely for the fact they can turn into Titans. No amount of diplomacy solves that. If Paradis takes out Marley, then the world would only fear them more given they would become the de facto world superpower.

GhostGhost

Are you Planning on watching My hero academia? its a must watch for every reaction youtuber because its HYPE af

Enter Name

Well the moment nukes and military planes appear titans become obsolete in wars. So not really. The only thing with this plan is it’s supposed to kill less people than the rumbling. But at this point it’s like saying oh these people are the minority so it’s fair they die I do agree that it’s all fucked up

Kurosaki Ken

interesting getting the backstory and learning that both marley and the restorationists were correct. 2000 years of titan domination and in the 100 years the eldian empire didn’t rule, the oppressed people (marley, the world) retaliated against their persecution and their oppressors which once again led to the eldian empire attempting to take over.

LilDaz26

You guys are both right, titans arent the issue and the show made that clear, you can replace the word "titan" with almost anything and people will find a reason to hate you for it. (race, height, gender, religion) But killing the entire planet is also not the answer lmao

david

It's all fucked up lmao, they proposed 3 plans in this reaction and all of them involve the death of a large number of people, in the universe of AoT you cannot really rely on the morals we use because the stakes are so severe. Eldians are dangerous, Eren, a child, can wipe out the world. When something like that exists then genocide of one race vs the world becomes debatable. I don't get why people try to take a moral approach when there really is no "moral" answer, it's why the show is as complex and entertaining as it is in the first place.

Helpy

I completely disagree too, by following Zeke's plan you're not only getting rid of titans, but of an entire race, I don't think the guys are "too harsh" on it, they just have in mind how fucked up it is to make every Eldian disappear when they were just born that way, it's unfair.

Fer I

Silent watcher here but I absolutely love how you guys think so deeply about everything and not just go with a side blindly. To this point I personally thought too that Eren was taking things really far (even though I completely understand why he ends up doing this), how can anyone not see that? as Rivas said, radicalism of any kind is bad and I'm glad you guys understand it. I have to say I thought Rowan would 100% go with Eren but I'm surprised he was the first one to say it was so wrong. Can't wait for more and for your thoughts on what's left of the story!

Fer I

The last three episodes, if you understand them fully, you do realise that AOT is one of the greatest story ever written ever...

Randy Flash

Genocide. Lets go hurray🥳🥳🥳

estee hrahsel

That's fine, humans will always fight, my point isn't to end violence it's to equal the playing field. It's like if in real life only the US had nuclear power, the balance is shifted so if the US is ever threatened they can just wipe a country away. The titan powers disrupt human balance because only one race has it and it is a god-like force. Fixing violence comes AFTER titans go away (Hence what happens later in the show)

Helpy

I disagree, titans are not the whole issue. The wrong has already been done. Think of it, if titans no longer exist then the Middle East union will see this as an opportunity to attack marley since they no longer have titans shifters. Then more casualties then the cycle continues. The world isn’t full of pain because of titans. The world is full of pain because of humans.

Kurosaki Ken

I think you guys are too harsh about Zeke's plan, I personally don't like it but it's definitely the "healthiest" plan out of the 3. Because it 100% eliminates titans, which is the whole issue. Yes it is genocide and it's to their own kind which is why I don't like it, but it secures the safety of the world because if you follow Armin's 50 year plan who's to say that the rumbling couldn't happen again later down the line anyway? Zeke's plan is unfair but TECHNICALLY it destroys the threat of titans, no human needs that power...Fritz made that perfectly clear (as did Ymir)

Helpy

It’s pretty unfair to say “the world” started shit. In reality there’s a lot of innocent people who did absolutely nothing wrong suffering because of a group of racist individuals hate Elidans so much that they want them exterminated. But because it’s impossible to sort the innocent from the guilty they all end up suffering the same in the end. Basically what I’m trying to say is Eren isn’t doing this because it’s what the world deserves, it’s because given the circumstances and everything he’s seen and been told, this is (for him) the best option that achieves his goal. Remember everyone in this show is fighting for their own reason. Is it the right option? Who knows. Was there really not another better way? We don’t know. Was there even a correct option to choose from? That’s up to you to decide. And that’s the beauty of this show

Jay

Another good one: “History is written by winners of war” (smt like that anyways

Jay

Now we keep moving forward until The End.

Interesting to note that both sides of the origin story, the restorationists beliefs, and the Marleyan's beliefs were both correct. As the restorationists said, yes she did help build society, building bridges, cultivating the lands etc. But likewise she also attacked and oppressed the people of Marley under orders of Fritz. So both sides were correct, just from different points of view Also, regarding the three origin theories that people had, they were all also technically correct. The three theories were that she made a contract with the devil which was Marley's belief, she was a god given miracle which was the restorationist belief, and then kruger added that "some say she came into contact with the source all life". From watching, we can see that literally speaking, yes, the source of all life was the true one as that is what she touched and got powers from, but who's to say that the other ideas were false? If you think about it, people from back then 2000 years ago who did not understand technology and science, would have thought that is the devils doing or god's doing depending on the side they were on, so they weren't "wrong" for say, as from their point of view and understanding, their ideas were justified. And this all circles back to that beautiful line from Kruger, and one of my favorite quotes from the show, where he says " the truth of this world is that there is no truth, anybody can become a god or a devil, all it takes is for someone to believe it" which perfectly summarises the fundamental aspect of this show regarding "understanding one another and accepting that everyone has their own point of view on things". Honestly Kruger was such a goat, man showed up for two episodes, told some amazing messages, did a bit of mindfuckery then dipped 😂

Uzair Ali

« War doesn’t determine who’s right, it determines who’s left » is a quote that portrays this perfectly.

Kurosaki Ken

So regarding the origin story of titans, it actually has a lot of really cool similarities and inspirations from norse mythology. Firstly, In norse mythology, Ymir is the original creation, the first being to ever exist, which goes hand in hand with AOT with her being the first ever titan. Additionally, the fundamental building block of the world in norse mythology, is the world tree "yggrdradil". And as we've seen in AOT, tree's play a heavy role symbolically and physically, as we find them everywhere. The coordinate is a tree with paths branching out, Eren woke up under that tree in episode 1 where he saw that "dream", and the entire thing started with a tree with Ymir. Trees basically run the show. In norse mythology, at the bottom of this world tree "yggdrasil" lies several things, one of which is a well of water known as the "well of the wise" where Odin sacrificed an eye to the well in order to benefit from it. This goes perfectly hand in hand with AOT, as ymir lost an eye and fell down into the body of water below the tree, where she was granted the power of the titans. And then you've got other things like how the norse mythology 9 realms match up with the 9 titans etc. Honestly when you deep dive into it, it's so interesting to see all the resemblances between AOT and norse mythology.

When you guys mentioned about "talking it out with Eren", remember, Eren as a human is technically already dead. Zeke mentioned, that he made contact with him just before he passed on. In other words, this founding titan form of Eren is the only thing keeping him alive, there is no human version of him left, so he can't get out of this titan without dying. So therefore how would peace talks work, as he can't really revert back to human state again. Speaking of which, this is the first time we've now finally seen the founding titan in it's "full form", with both Eren in this new form, and the founder ymir's titan.

Uzair Ali

The rumbling is finally here 😈

Uzair Ali

A bit ironic dont you think... lol. Thats the argument the marleyans used

Lloyd

The rest of the world literally hates Eldians MORE than Marley does. The rest of the world wants and was going to wipe out all Eldians. They started shit, they get hit.

Hippopi

These 3 episodes is what I've been waiting for
