'Obba' is what girls call older guys when they are either family, or close in relationship (friends/lovers). She refers to the men as 'obba'(s) because in Korea, we're relatively still old school and usually prefer the men being older than the women in relationships. So she uses that to flirt in a way. But it can also be completely platonic in other uses. It's the same as when Sangwoo calls Gihun 'hyung' but in the translation it says 'Gihun.' Hyung is what a guy calls an older guy between family or closer relationships.
