I am going to be 1000% honest. If you're ever going to venture into a longer anime I'd seriously recommend One Piece. Not because it a GOAT anime or anything like that, but truly because it's a political anime in a way that most don't see because it's hidden under pirate themes. Sure the story is cool and the fights are cool too, but the anime truly does make you think. When one of you said that Tanjiro was good and clean in a way you've never seen I knew that Luffy would be on that list of good characters who won't back down to help. Only he doesn't until someone asks for help first. In my honest opinion he is someone you would want as a best friend, not as someone you'd look up to.

Just some Korean language info. In Weak Hero ep 1 the main bully called the long hair guy "hyung" but it was translated to "bro" in the subtitles. In ep2 when the main bully was in the hospital the long hair guy asked who it was who beat him, asked how much he would pay him and then according to the subtitles he told him to say "please help me, sir" but if you listen he asked him to say "hyung" so once it was translated to "bro" and now to "sir" and later in ep 2, I think it was after the fight scene, they just translated hyung to the long haired guy's name in the subtitles. Hyung is what a guy calls a guy who is older than him and that means born a year or more before him (born the same year you count as same age in Korea). In Korea you have age hierarchy and titles you use when addressing someone older. Hyung also means you are relatively close so, you might wanna ask if it's ok to address someone as hyung but it is still respectful. You sometimes see hyung translated to "older brother" but it's not like saying older brother in english, it can be an actual older brother but you'll hear it used by any and every guy with an older male friend or male person they are relatively close with. So the "bro" and "sir" translations wasn't really wrong, neither was just putting the name of him, in those contexts it was pretty good to capture how "hyung" was used but it would have been better if they just had "hyung" in the subtitles and you'll then will understand how it's used, the english translations of honorifics can confuse people like it did confuse you. Also; the girl calls the long haired guy "oppa", it's exactly the same as hyung but said by a younger female to older male, hyung is younger male to older male. But honorifics and speaking polite speech with older people and people "above" you or new to you is a thing in Korea that you'll notice if you keep reacting to Korean stuff so a little google search and read on honorifics and polite speech vs banmal (casual speech) can be good to better understand and to listen what is said in Korean even if the subtitles says something else in english. And when it comes to the currency, 1000 krw is around 1.8 aud so if you just remove three decimals from what they say in krw you quickly get somewhat close to what it is in aud. Like 1M krw is now around 1080 aud so if you just take away three zeros from 1.5M krw you get 1500 aud and you are still close enough to get a sense of how much money they are talking about but to be exact it's around 1600 aud.

Totally fair comment, but tbh, we’re really enjoying watching a diverse range of anime right now. It helps us cater to different viewers while also keeping things fresh for us. As much as we love certain shows, watching a variety helps prevent burnout and makes filming new episodes something we genuinely look forward to. But ye if we had more time, we’d 100% focus on more episodes for all shows. Just wanted to share our perspective :)

Hey guys! Would really recommend y'all to watch [The promised neverland]. I bet you guys will definitely like it, and it's a bit different from the regular anime genres you've been watching. (There are 12 eps in total short and sweet.) There is s2 but I would not recommend it as the animation studio didn't follow the manga and ended it abruptly. Still the s1 ending gives somewhat of a closure to the anime. I still remember going crazy over the plot twists in the anime during my first watch. It was huge 4 years ago but as of now the fandom has mostly died :( still it's an anime masterpiece! From the animation to the characters and sound, everything is perfect. Really wanna see you guys explore more horror and thriller genre!

I would love to see your reactions to Tokyo Revengers, it's an action anime, has a great story, the animation is really good too and I think you would definitively like it, plus there is one character in particular with a lot of aura in there. I think many people will agree: 1. Watch whatever you prefer, if you like something more - just adjust the schedule to fit that, your interest and theories are the most fun part. So if you like something and want to watch more of it - just do it and sacrifice something that you are less interested in 2. For the love of God, Odin and Artorias, please give us Vinland Saga season finale(and season review) asap :D

i know why. it's because the video and jokes aged like milk. It was great at the time when that was the "anime youtube humour" but making people in pretty much 2025 react to humour of the past that they were not part of falls flat a lot of times. It was funny back then especially in the era when only S1 of Aot was out and people who was there still finds it funny but others are just confused what any of it even means especially if you aren't even an anime head. There's like few jokes that could land but the rest just goes over everyone's head.
