2025-01-03 21:14:32 +0000 UTCWhilst Frieren is definitely more of a wholesome heartwarming tale than things like AOT and JJK, it is far from slice of life. I think you guys will be very surprised at how much action there is. Frieren has a little bit of everything. Also, the first 4 episodes were initially released as a 2 hour special that serve as something of a prologue to the main story. Crunchyroll then split that into 4 episodes. That's also why the intros are just put at the start of the episode, as it was originally supposed to be watched without breaks. I'm very glad that you guys are watching this. I think it's important to not get stuck in one genre of anime as you'll miss out on a huge range of things that anime has to offer. Once you guys are a little further into your anime journey, I'd love to see you guys watch some slice of life, romance or comedy anime.

Anyway, loving your thoughts on Vinland Saga and Freiren. I know you guys are already watching lots of shows, but I am still hoping for Orb, Movement of the Earth, the name is weird, but itβs great and still ongoing. Itβs a hidden gem of an anime and you can still catch up and watch it as itβs coming out.
