It's really hard for me to make a top 5 characters cus they're all so damn well written...

Just like Kenny didn’t understand Uri’s vision (why he didn’t kill him, how he was seeing the world peacefully and with such wisdom) Thorkell would not understand Thors ideas. Indeed just like Kenny was a slave to power he is a slave to war and battles. And I think him asking that question is like Kenny trying to understand Uri. He says he doesn’t know what does not make him a true warrior. I think deep down he wants to understand Thors too. He wants to see a different perspective. Thorfinn, when asked, refuses to think about it because he’s still a slave to his past ( like a fresh wound that keeps bleeding 🩸 and the only thing that will stop it is to kill Askeladd) Canute on a beautiful juxtaposition note, discovers that perspective that vision Uri and Thors had and he realises all these blood baths are meaningless and should stop.
