I reckon it's the son. In the scene where the Graf explains people with unbreakable will can temporarily break free from the spell, the sword that the soldier drew was the same sword that was given to the Graf's son, shown when the Graf first tried to fight Lugner.

Idk if the set of armor is his grandfather's or his son's though - both could make sense. The son was talked about a lot and we know he was killed by either Lugner or Aura, but the amount of rust on the armor makes me think it might have been the grandfather anyway this has been my yap sesh
