2025-01-28 20:12:09 +0000 UTCHow would you guys feel about swapping Vinland Saga and Demon Slayer once vinland season 2 starts, so that DS has the double uploads with 2 episodes each so 4 total in a week. And Vinland has one day a week with 3 episodes. Vinland has less episodes left than DS anyway so this would help extend it's life on this channel.

2025-01-28 18:40:52 +0000 UTCHey fellas, the reason for the "Demon Hunter" in the subtitles is purely because of that. Because they are subtitles. A lot of times official subtitles are localized. They are choosing to translate things differently since overseas, people might not understand certain things if they are translated directly and some words are changed entirely, even some jokes will be completely changed because they might be Japanese jokes that you won't understand so they change them entirely. In this case they are just choosing to translate Slayer to Hunter. I'm not sure exactly why they are replacing the word, but they do stuff like this all the time. The biggest offender of this that I can think of is Jojo's Bizzare adventure, where they change whole names entirely at times. Basically don't try to think too hard about it. It just is what it is. In this particular anime, it isn't a big issue.
