The reason thorfinn didnt ever defend himself was because he could subconsciously tell that Fox wasnt a real threat. Thats why it showed askaladd in picture of snake for a second, Thorfinn immediately detected him as a real threat, and his body reacted accordingly

This episode marks the beginning of a strong bond between them, sharing their traumas, understanding and accepting each other. Makes me remember when Einar says “this is where I meant Thorfinn” at the start, shows how important meeting him was. Show is wholesome,sad, epic, intriguing, scary at the same time. Reminds you of another show ? Me too It’s beautiful

2025-02-10 13:06:21 +0000 UTCGlad to see you all appreciate the many aspects of season 2 that make it my favorite piece of media I’ve witnessed in my lifetime. From the animation, music, direction, cinematography, and voice acting, the production elevates everything about the storytelling and manages to build on season 1 so well. There’s always a debate about whether season 1 or 2 is better, but both are masterpieces in my humble opinion. Season 2 has such an impact because the prologue does a great job of setting the stage for what happens in season 2, despite them being so different from each other. Looking forward to the rest of your reactions gentlemen. Also, not sure if you guys noticed since there wasn’t a noticeable reaction to it, but wondering if you all saw whose head was cut off in Thorfinn’s nightmare.
