His eyes, when turned yellow, is called the Beast's eyes and it can accurately measure a monster/hunter's power level which was why he was able to find out that SJW had gotten stronger since their first encounter and that he could also keep getting stronger.

2025-02-16 19:51:02 +0000 UTCAs someone who hasnt read the manhwa, this episode gave even more evidence to my theory that magical beasts who break out of a dungeon become "players" who can level up. With all the direct times they've referred to jinwoo and his dad as a literal magical beast and not a human, it all kind of makes sense. When jinwoo accepted the screen from the statue in the first couple episodes, that was him unknowingly becoming a magical beast and "breaking from the dungeon." This is why I think the ants are evolving, because once a magical beast breaks from the dungeon they become just like jinwoo and can get stronger, while human hunters have always been locked in to their rank... kinda crazy (also they've confirmed the high rank magical beasts have some sort of intelligence with the new demon knights that jinwoo 1 shotted at the end, kargarggleman, and the ice elf, which further supports this.)
