Thorfinn saying he feels he is empty is telling everyone Askeladd was horrible for him and no father figure. A Father does not leave their child feeling empty when they think of the time they spent with them. Askeladd was influential but not more than thors imo.

2025-02-17 21:01:00 +0000 UTCYeah as Ronnie said Thors had no choice but to protect everyone. They were trapped. Also he did use violence but only to knock people out. He didn’t kill anyone. And he did this because he knew negotiations wouldn’t work. Thanks to his sacrifice, no one else died when it should have been a bloodbath. Ultimately tho Thorfinn and Einar did not have to resort to violence. With that punch Thorfinn let his anger control him. Like before.
