Since y'all have already watched the movie... I think I must have shed tears at least three or four times throughout this episode when it aired. Having watched the movie before this episode, just the sight of him wielding his sword again hurt me SO much. The scene that overlaps his movements with his father's gave me so many chills. And the sense of dread I got when he went on to board the train afterwards... I was literally screaming at my screen "NOOO DON'T GET ON THE TRAIN PLEASEEE" because I knew what was gonna happen on it. It was genuinely the worst episode ever cause the memory of his loss was still so fresh in my mind. And the fact that he never got to tell his father about the two bento vendors he saved, who his father saved 20 years before, just crushed me. Literally the the most depressing and heart wrenching episode in the series for me, since he's my ultimate favourite character. Still, I'm glad that y'all enjoyed this.
