This just reminded me of Red Dead Redemption 2's honour/reputation system because it uses the exact same symbolism, except the deer is a symbol of high honour (which is perfectly replicated in Einar) and the wolf is low honour (which also somewhat matches up with Thorfinn because of his dark past). Btw if anyone doesn't know what RDR2 is, it's probably one of the best games ever made.
