Tengen being so sarcastic and sassy doesn't help either since he just keep adding fuel to the fire with those thinly veiled insults WJHBEHJB Still, I love that you guys are enjoying it so far. A lot of reactors don't attach themselves to our hilarious trio at all, so they find the first part of the arc boring, which I think is a ridiculous idea lmao. There's no plot if the arc just jumps straight to action. The plot is plotting in this, while maintaining a relatively light-hearted start to the arc, and it's been pretty darn good at it considering the depressing movie we came from. I genuinely needed a pick me up after Mugen Train, and this episode was definitely it since I was watching weekly by the time I caught up with the series. Looking forward to the next few episodes!

2025-03-21 17:29:07 +0000 UTCHonestly, Demon Slayer has some of the best opening songs I've ever heard. Like, throughout the entire series so far. All of them have been banger after banger, and they haven't missed yet. Of course, tastes might vary based on the kind of music, but it's good to note that every arc in Demon Slayer has a particular vibe to it. In the first season, Gurenge by LiSA was very much an embodiment of the beginning of Tanjirou's journey as a demon slayer. The Mugen Train arc actually has an opening song as well for the episodic format they released as a recap before this arc, and it's also a LiSA song (Akeboshi), which is beautiful and sad, like the Mugen Train arc was. This arc is the Entertainment District Arc, so it's pretty self-explanatory that the vibe is gonna be much more flashy (just like Tengen, the hashira joining the trio this time). This song is called Zankyosanka, by Aimer, who is one of the most famous artists for anime openings, iirc. Her songs are VERY popular in the anime community. And it really captures Tengen's flashy, flamboyant vibe very well.
