It's true that Muzan would never speak that way to Akaza, since he's not the type of demon who yearns for recognition or praise. Daki, on the other hand, is very visibly infatuated with Muzan. She blushes every time he praises her, and also worships him. It makes complete sense for Muzan to make use of her infatuation with him to motivate her to get stronger and eat more humans. I'm genuinely so excited for the rest of this season. I can't wait for the next few drops cause shit's about to hit the fan!!
