Mitsuri's backstory is one of the few that doesn't start or end with tragedy, and it's honestly so refreshing to see that even if someone is in the demon slayer corps, it doesn't automatically mean they had a miserable run-in with demons. Of course, that doesn't take away the bitterness that permeates her experience with marriage and self-identity. Hers is definitely the most relatable to us as human beings, and it was sad to see her so subdued and withdrawn to the point of her cheerful self being hidden away for the sake of conforming to society's standards of "normal women". And even after she got past that, it's easy to see how she let others' opinions sway her decision to hold back her strength even as a hashira. She's only 19! Of course she was still worried that people would judge or denounce her strength as inhuman. My girl ain't even 20 yet and is already a full fledged working citizen who kills demons as a job. Tanjirou keep proving his status as main character and most wholesome best boy in the series lmao. Every word he says is spoken with genuine sincerity and he always seems to know what the right words are to cheer people up, like Kotetsu, Muichirou, Inosuke, etc. He's so non-problematic and sweet, I love his interactions with everyone in the series
