the genya appreciation 🥹🥹🥹 really shows how far we've come huh! he even made it to my top 2 (other being rengoku) by the end of the series. one of the biggest glow ups in this show i also honestly didn't realize how many callbacks there were to rengoku. Maybe because i read the manga while it was updating and watched the anime as it came out so i mostly remember just a few. One of my favorites being rengoku's sword hilt/guard protecting kotetsu and muichiro finally being able to shed tears over his passing. But rewatching with you guys i can see and feel more accurately how much the show honors rengoku... makes me love this series all the more. They were so respectful with how he passed despite how it happened and his memory and legacy is never forgotten. How am i feeling so much over a fictional man!

His theme playing in the back always makes me tear up and remember his sacrifice and how amazing he was as a mentor and as a hashira. Y'all are right when you say that the osts are fire (they do SO MUCH for the atmosphere and ambience in the series), especially Akaza's (his is one of my favourites too, it's SO GOOD) But yayyy y'all are in the final stretches of the season! I'm so excited to see your reactions to the next two episodes. Things are about to get insane and I'm so here for it again<3

2025-05-06 10:25:07 +0000 UTCI crack up every time Gyomei tells Tanjirou to put Zenitsu into the river because he fainted JHBHJQEBJHB The trio being back together only makes this episode even more hilarious because their shenanigans are now tinged with a state of relaxation unlike when they're on their missions. They're just training together and it reminds me of season 1 ep 14 when they were recovering at a wisteria crest inn from their broken ribs after the tsuzumi mansion. Murata is truly impressive considering he doesn't stand out AT ALL in terms of character design or swordsmanship prowess. He's just one example of the wholesome demon slayer seniors who have survived till now through sheer hard work and perhaps a lot of luck haha!

2025-05-06 01:52:26 +0000 UTCI'm assuming the show will be over thursday, (hopefully because I can't wait to see the finale) but If you don't wanna fill up the demon slayer slot immediately with something new next monday, you could also create an entire episode of what you guys considered the best moments of the show and do a little recap of what each person thought, personally I think that'd be pretty cool! It'll also give you guys a chance to react to the comments of what happens in the finale.

So good to have the 4 of you living this 200% way, with your own personnalities, don't hold back tears or anything, not all men do that. And also with your way to analyze everything, try to understand the best the characters and the hidden messages behind all of this. This show is a masterpiece and an ode to humanity. It's also have help me to re-watch it with you 'cause honestly this story has broked my heart so many times, hard to handle the back stories and the horrors the characters have been throw. But like Tanjiro, always rise again ! I've seen the end of this season but I didnt't read the books so I don't know where this is going. I want to hope for the best like our goat T. and everyone else, but I am very afraid the victory is gonna coast us a lot.... We will see in September ! Keep going guys and thank you !!
