2025-08-09 08:34:26 +0000 UTCThis show was way ahead of its time, and it is shown in your reaction to Sokka's sexism. But the thing is, that is a key part of his character development. Removing it from his character (like the modern live action has done) erases the personal struggle and growth his character will have to go through to be the beloved guy fans love.

2025-05-23 16:30:06 +0000 UTCyour discussion about sokka’s sexism and how it would be portrayed in 2025 is so much more relevant than you think considering how that aspect of his character was completely removed for the live action show, with it being considered “dated” and harmful even tho the cartoon directly punishes and challenges him for this belief.
