Joined your Patreon for Haikyuu reactions, lets go! Nekoma is so good, I love we are getting introduced to more teams. That Kuro speech is perfectly summarizing Nekoma's team philosophy.

2025-06-18 13:02:51 +0000 UTCThere’s a reason why Nekoma’s coach calls Kageyama a demon. In Japan, there’s a proverb that goes, “Oni ni kanabō,” which literally means “a demon with an iron club.” It refers to something—or someone—that’s already strong becoming even stronger. That’s why the coach likened Kageyama to the demon and Hinata to the iron club.

2025-05-30 10:01:01 +0000 UTCJust throwing this out here, Both sides in a rivalry don't have to win to maintain its intensity or significance. A rivalry can be defined by a strong, ongoing competition, even if one side consistently dominates or one side wins more often than the other. The key is the intense rivalry itself, regardless of who wins or loses. Another thing is many healthy rivalries are built on a foundation of mutual respect, where each individual/team recognizes the skills and dedication of the other.
