As a Pole, I don't see many blacks or Asians, well, more Asians now that my Bro's family is Japanese, so, Asian, but when I see them, my first thought is 'cool', like you'd think upon seeing Tom Hanks or Mel Gibson or Hayao Miyazaki. But when I look at Mel, I'm used to her having more melanin than say Jinx, much more, and, so what? I think of hundred other Mel's characteristics first, whether Mel was black or white or yellow, it wouldn't change anything about her for me.

I get you guys are aussie and used to watching anime with characters with no melanin in their skin, but ppl with dark skin are just characters in the US (saying as a non-black person)! And black people are every 1 in 5 (similar to asians in Australia) :) it's an unneccesary thing to point out alllll the timeeee unless it's part of the plot. I notice the same comments aren't made about Caitlyn being asian. White/ Light skin is not the default!
